Hi. This editor is really great! There is just one thing that would be awesome, if you could add it please. The Osc waveform selector needs to allow selecting wave numbers up to 256, for the hidden waves.

This is a really great find for me. Way back in '94 I did a whole original soundtrack for a Robert Rodriguez film "Roadracers" using a JV-80 and Alesis MMT-8 for all the MIDI drums, bass and some ambients sonic elements.I've been asked to do some videos showing how I did the programming / composing. My MMT-8 is still fully functional but my JV-80's and 880's displays no longer work (though the sound sections are still fully functioning). I have my Sysex stuff saved to floppy LOL and then later to Sysex librarian on my Mac. With Patchbase I'll be able to show all the customizations I did to my drum sounds, which were extensive. Exactly what I need. Excited to get this! Paul

Hello, I’m testing patch base out before committing to an in app purchase. I trying with the limited free functionality. But I can’t seem to get it to fetch the patch from my synth. Is that a limitation of the app before purchasing? Or am I doing something wrong?

The vision is not realized, the dream is in shambles, the studio is broken inside. Why don't you have an editor that allows us to edit and automate the synths with the same user interface for both standalone app and plugin for our DAWs running on Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android? Do I need to release a product better than yours? I can code multi-platform editor that does that. I'm working hard on music right now instead of developing products for my software company, though I can easily hire people to work on this stuff. Do I need to fix everything or can you do it? You're going to have to start over from scratch and whatever you do, heed the warning, do not use JUCE. I.e. VST3 sample accurate automation is not supported and JUCE automation is block accurate and interpolated between blocks. This is worst case scenario for an editor.

There's no buttons to save a bank for the microKorg on the MacOS version. Is it incomplete or bugged? Just purchased the full version.

Is there a way to delete files and folders? I can’t find a way to do that. The ales doesn’t appear to be a synth tab like in the video. The other issue I’m having is when I have my microkorg’s arpeggiator on and I change certain parameters like detune, voice, tempo etc, it turns the arp off and I have to turn it on again.

Is there anything special to set up on my hardware synth? is it just connect it to the Mac with midi in and out?

Jv-1080 If I hold down a note and align any parameter like filter cutoff and change note then the the new note does not sounds, until I press it again, but the original note is still sounds but it is already released ( i mean the key). Is it normal? I mean sysex can not handle this kind of action? Thanks

I don't know if you've mentioned it before or it's on another video of yours, but is there a way to map a hardware control surface to parameters in the app? If I could map knobs and sliders to at least some parameters on your app, then I could do some "hands on" tweaking in tandem. I know most of these old machines have so many parameters that it takes multiple iPad screen pages to show them all. But, just being able to tweak the envelopes or filter settings alone would be next level on some of these machines that were so menu dominant.

I've been making music since 1995.. I've used Studio Vision, Digital Performer, Reason, Ableton.. Im also a web designer and now a UX designer... while its great a synth patch librarian still exists in 2022, the UI/UX is sadly lacking, and not intuitive at all. Just trying to buy the program after trying it out was difficult, I had erase it from the hardrive, download it again so the prompt would come up The icons of the buttons weren't intuitive nor was the interface for the XP-30 anyways. It would be great if this was way more skeuomorphic like a lot of VST Synths and Reason is...like why doesnt the piano roll to play notes not look like an ACTUAL piano with white and black keys?
